6 day ONLINE Faculty development program with UGC- MMTTC, RIE, Mysore with Srushti Degree College, BNU

Moving from wellbeing to flourishing: Reimagining how we create campuses where students can thrive

Higher education is going through an important moment.

Across campuses, we are increasingly asking:

Are our students only preparing for careers—or are they also learning how to live meaningful, connected and purposeful lives?

Student wellbeing is about the relationships we create, the learning environments we nurture, the conversations we enable, the values we embody and the opportunities we give young people to find meaning, agency and belonging.

Why IKS and contemporary knowledge together?

Much of the contemporary conversation on wellbeing comes from psychology and behavioural sciences.

The programme explores how IKS, contemporary knowledge and the experience of Indian educators can come together to develop approaches to student wellbeing that are meaningful, culturally rooted and relevant to today’s campuses.

A programme for faculty who care about their students

Student Wellbeing and Flourishing on Campus is a six-day online Short Term Programme that brings together perspectives from:

It is an invitation to think together about our campuses Through dialogue and reflection, participants will:

1. Understand the issue of students wellbeing on campus 2. Explore happiness & wellbeing from Indian Knowledge Systems & NEP-2020 3. Broaden understanding by engaging with scholars and fellow educators 4. Strategies on how these ideas connect with their own students, classrooms and institutional realities 5. Assessing participants understanding and their commitment to create flourishing campuses. 6. Co-create possibilities for frameworks and practices that can foster more flourishing campuses.

The programme creates a space for faculty, researchers and educators to pause, listen, question and learn together—and to explore what wellbeing and flourishing could mean in the Indian higher education context.

Rather than offering a ready-made formula, the programme invites us to co-create possibilities for our own campuses.

Come with questions. Leave with possibilities.
